A nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of monumental olive trees in Puglia. The association is committed to grafting selected trees that have not yet been infected and treating all trees with sustainable solutions, following a land management protocol.

What is Xylella and why is it so deadly?

First discovered in Puglia in 2013, Xylella Fastidiosa is a rapidly spreading, deadly bacterium carried by insects that reduces the tree's ability to absorb water and nutrients, drying it out over time.
